Amplify Posse Track (Single)

Solidarity Studios partnered with the Academy Group Chicago to help their cohort of "Amplify" students produce a song that showcases all of the things they have been learning in their financial literacy course. The Amplify Program brought together a cohort of 12 young men, identified as returning citizens, in order to help them learn the basic principles of investing. 

 

Producer Spotlight 2020 (Album)

Producer Spotlight is Solidarity Studios in-house music production program that invites producers to collectively produce an album, build music production skills, and collaborate with Chicago artists. This year Solidarity Studios partnered with Young Chicago Authors to produce an album that showcases the sound, culture, and artistic community of Chicago.

 

Kpanlogo Riddim Competition (Playlist)

The Kpanlogo Riddim Competition is a curated project produced by Solidarity Studios, the University of Ghana, State Department, and a variety of independent artists in Ghana, Nigeria, Chicago, and New York. Solidarity Studios hosted a music preservation workshop at the University of Ghana to teach aspiring engineers and producers to record Kpanlogo music, an indigenous tradition of Ghanaian music. Solidarity Studios packaged the music into a sample pack and distributed the samples across a variety of production houses across the world. This resulted in a number of remixes that incorporate Kpanlogo drums and different genres of music. 

 

I Recycle Anthem (Music Video)

Solidarity Studios partnered with Faith in Place, an environmental justice education organization to give the youth program an opportunity to produce a song that expressed the many different environmental topics that they learned about in the Eco-Ambassador Program. 

 

Palastina (Single)

Dr. Kalonji, a resident artist and scholar at Solidarity Studios, produced "Palestina," a song that shares commentary of communities in the global south such as Palestine.

 

Sounds Of Ghana (Album)

 
 

DJ Antonio Cesar, a resident artist and programs manager at Solidarity Studios, produced the album "Sounds of Ghana." This album showcases a variety of genres of music that you could hear in Ghana, West Africa with a touch production style by DJ Antonio Cesar.
