Go Skate Day is celebrated annually, all over the world with the goal to help make skateboarding more accessible. This is how it looked for our 2023 session here in CHICAGO. Kicking things off, we had the honor of having Alderman Lamont Robinson commemorate the day with a few words. Our partners at @chicagoactionsports offer a community of athletes and leaders to support spread the passion to participate in action sports. Their collaboration with @chicagoparks, who offer great locations across the city, created @gogrindchicago, an event to promote workshops and camps for those looking to learn as well as offer challenges and prizes, from @charactersk8, to experienced skaters. We also had @jarritos & @redbull sponsor drinks; while RedBull also provided their truck. Music brought to you by Solidarity Studios featuring DJs @silenthype_is_sireena and @djantoniocesar. Extra support was given by @nascarchicago which is happening this weekend!
